As we were waiting to eat in Hattiesburg tonight my baby saw this Army Soldier and as he was walking in she said thank you for your service and he didn’t hear her. When he walked back out she was shy so I said sir I don’t think you heard her a minute ago but she said thank you for your service! He said thank you and he appreciated it, so he walked to his vehicle and got in. Then he got out of his vehicle and walked up to Macie and said can you hold on to something for me and he pointed to his right arm at the flag and told Macie to take it off and hang on to it! Y’all talking about chills and tears! I try and teach my kids when they see a man or woman in uniform to thank them!
