It takes all sorts for the world to go round. This passenger is just one of the seven billion people trying to get by as a member of the human race.

She has been shamed for airing her laundry in public – and we don’t mean that as a metaphor.

She was filmed using the air vent of a plane to dry her knickers.

The unnamed woman was flying on Ural Airlines from Antalya, a resort city in southern Turkey, to Moscow when she was filmed drying her smalls.

Witnesses said she didn’t seem embarrassed in the slightest as she spent 20 minutes holding her underwear up to the vent.

One person who saw what happened said: ‘Everybody was looking with interest and confusion, but everybody remained silent.’

However, the video has sparked a lively debate after it was posted online.

Heych bola-bola said: ‘This woman has the intellect of a dog… This is so sad… Half the country are like her.’

Dmitriy Biryukov said: ‘Maybe the take off was sort of extreme, so now she has to dry those.’

Ravil Zakharov added: ‘This is not the worst thing in the modern world.’

While Alexandra Alexandra said: ‘Those aren’t ones of an adult. Looks like they belong to a kid.’
