Thanks P.F. and Scotty (attorneys both)
I think the first step, if it were me, would be for the defense to ask for a change in venue. Uh, what about Lubbock, Plano, or Abilene, TX?
Perhaps the Tea Party will be more energized this upcoming election than they were in 2010? They did a good job of cleaning house - now they need to finish clearing out the trash.
HOW ABOUT OUR OWN US ATTORNEY GENERAL, WHO OBVIOUSLY IS SUPPOSED TO BE OBJECTIVE, FAIR, AND REPRESENT OUR COUNTRY, PUBLICALLY COMMENDING GUTTER SNIPE AL SHARPTON!!!! OBVIOUSLY WHAT SHARPTON HAS DONE IS RACE BAIT AND RABBLE ROUSE. ARE WE WELL ON WAY TO DICTATORSHIP? Scotty
Polling numbers must indicate complacency in the voter base of the party in power of the executive branch of our national government as agents of their party appear to be engaging in conduct that would welcome full scale riots irrespective of the final outcome of the Trayvon Martin case. Street violence and riots would be a sure method to energize a lethargic base of supporters.
While none of us were actual witnesses or have all of the facts, By charging him with second-degree murder the state will be in the position of proceeding on the basis of proving it was not “an act of negligence”, but was an “intentional killing”. Under Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law that enables one to meet force with force, it would appear to be a big hurdle for the State to prove, assuming it’s a fair trial.Obviously, the defense will try to take race out of the case and make it about the law.
When Rodney King and others have been found guilty by a jury---riots occurred.
When O.J. Simpson was acquitted by a jury---- cities and towns were destroyed by riots, rapes, looting.and fires.
Do those prone to violence really care about the guilt or innocence of the Defendant? ? p.f.
